With the practical wok for the Weber Gourmet BBQ System, you get the best of two worlds: A light-weight wok for stir-fry dishes and a steaming rack with lid for steaming fish and delicious vegetables.

Stir fry your favourite dishes on your charcoal or gas barbecue using our porcelain-Enamel Cast-Iron Wok by Weber with the gourmet BBQ system.

Use and Care Prior to first use:

Prior to first use: Hand wash wok and steamer with mild dishwashing liquid. Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth or paper towel.

After use: Wait until the wok & steamer is cool. Soak wok in water to remove stubborn particles and then hand wash with warm soapy water. Rinse and dry completely. Nylon or soft abrasive pads/brushes may be used. Store inside in a cool, dry location. Steamer and lid are dishwasher safe.

How to cook on the Weber Wok:

(A) Place wok in the Gourmet BBQ System cooking grate. Make sure wok handles are positioned left to right. Preheat the barbecue using DIRECT HEAT until temperature reaches 204°C.

(B) Add lightly-oiled food to wok. Cook until food has reached desired doneness.

(C) Use care when lifting the wok out of the barbecue.

How to cook on the Weber Wok with the steamer basket:

(A) Depending on food type and quantity, pour up to 4 cups (1 litre) of water into wok.

(B) Place wok in the Gourmet BBQ System cooking grate. Make sure wok handles are positioned left to right. Preheat the barbecue using DIRECT HEAT until water begins to boil.

(C) Add food to steamer basket. Using mitts, carefully place steamer basket into wok. Place lid onto wok and cook until food has reached desired doneness. If necessary, add HOT or WARM water to wok. CAUTION: Do not pour cold water into wok when it is hot. Doing so could damage the enamel finish.

(D) Remove lid from wok. WARNING: When removing the lid, always position the lid so that the steam is directed away from you. Rising steam can cause burns.

(E) Carefully lift the steamer out of the wok.
