Hot Plate for Kamado Monolith Icon and Junior.

The lid of the kamado can be removed thanks to the hinge and the steel griddle can be placed on top.

It can be used as a grill, griddle or teppanyaki griddle at different temperatures.

With the hot plate, the temperature is very high in the areas directly above the heat source, i.e. in the 33 cm. diameter of the kamado and a little lower in the outer parts where the griddle protrudes, in the remaining 27 cm. outer diameter. This allows the meat to be seared or grilled in the middle and then moved to the outer parts to finish cooking and keep it warm.
