The cooking surface of the Prestige 500 features Napoleon’s Iconic Wave cooking grids in Stainless Steel. The 9.5 mm Wave cooking grids provide even heat and prevents smaller foods from falling into the barbecue.

Napoleon’s dual level 304 Stainless Steel sear plates provide plenty of coverage for dispersing the heat coming from the burners underneath. The tent shape of the sear plates forces grease to roll off quickly - preventing runaway flare ups. The dual level design of the plates gives additional protection and surface area for drippings to vaporize off, even between each burner. Each sear plate has a window, making it easy to see what burners are ignited, from above the grid surface.

Under the sear plates of the Napoleon Prestige 500, you will find four Napoleon’s 304 Stainless Steel tube burners. They’re each lit by push and turn reliable Jetfire ignition system, for a quick and reliable start.

The Napoleon Prestige 500 barbecue also includes ceramic lateral infrared burner, for additional cooking versatility.

To keep an eye on your grilling temperature, this barbecue mounts very accurate Accu-Probe lid thermometer. It also has a grease tray that can be removed from the front.

The knobs of the burners you turn on will glow red. This safety glow feature makes it easy to see what portions of the barbecue are on. The knobs can even be set to come on automatically when set to motion sensor mode.
