What is Eco Design?

Eco Design is a European Commission regulation that harmonizes the standards of all countries into one and applies to solid fuel stoves. It is oriented toward ecological design to reduce greenhouse gases, requiring higher energy efficiency, lower CO emissions, and fewer other pollutant gases.

This regulation meets the following requirements:

- Efficiency of 75%.

- CO emissions: Less than 0.12% (equivalent to 1500 mg/m3).

- Particle emissions: Less than 40 mg/m3.

- Nox emissions (Nitrogen oxides): Less than 200 mg/m3.

- OGC emissions (Gaseous organic compounds): Less than 120 mg/m3.
