The upper damper is made of heavy duty cast iron and allows you to control the temperature of the cook box with the top-air flow. The included multi-tool allows you to open and close the damper with ease, allowing you to cook low and slow or hot and fast.

Steel Lower Damper:

Get perfect control of the temperature. With the included multi-tool you can control the air flow at the bottom of the Keg. After you've cooked your meal, open the bottom damper for easy access to the ash that's accumulated, helping you with a quick and easy clean-up.

Cast Iron Grid:

The Keg 5000 comes equipped with a heavy duty cast iron cooking grid, perfect for locking in the heat to sear a steak or cook some ribs low and slow. There's also a secondary chrome coated cooking rack for finishing off whatever you're cooking, or for toasting some buns.
