Cooking method:

Set your grill to high using all of the burners. The stone can be used with either the direct, or indirect cooking method, indirect for premade pizzas. Direct cooking involves cooking directly over high heat while indirect cooking involves lower temperatures and convection cooking away from the heat source.

Preheat the stone on the grill, and place the pizza on the stone. To prevent sticking while making a fresh pizza, flour the peel and place the dough on the peel before dressing it. A pizza peel is the most useful pizza prep and cooking tool. Used as a platform to build pizzas and also put them into a take them out of the oven. Flour the stone then slide the pizza onto the hot stone.

For best results, cook thin-crust fresh pizzas on high setting around 600 ºF (315 ºC). Bake on Medium-High for thicker-crust fresh pizzas, or the 500 ºF (260 ºC) setting of your grill. Semolina or flour dusted or sprinkled on the stone will keep the dough from sticking will baking.

For frozen or premade pizzas, follow the directions on the package.

Care and washing instructions:

To clean the stone, hand wash with a mild detergent. Dry thoroughly.
