When Mike Lingwood launched Outdoorchef´s first gas barbecue over twenty years ago, he was aiming to create something better than simply a barbecue. He dreamt of a healthy and varied barbecue culture, bringing people a unique outdoor cooking experience.

The Mini Chef 420 E barbecue combines Outdoor Chef's unique funnel technology that gives you perfect results for flame-free cooking, baking and grilling with the convenience of plug-in 230v electrical power.

In addition, this grill features an enameled pan, a lid like the gas version, but underneath the porcelain enameled grill is where things change. Underneath the grill is an easily removable element that provides a constant heat of up to 300°C. In addition, there is a front mounted control panel that provides 7 freely selectable heat settings, making heat regulation very simple.

Underneath the element is a funnel heat reflector that bounces heat and flavour vapours back to the grill. The fat drips out of the funnel and into the drip cup underneath the pan. Above all, for increased heat reflection, protection and easy cleaning, the reflector is covered by an interchangeable foil cover.
