Pereruela´s factory continues with a millenary tradition in the handcrafted production of wood-fired ovens. Tradition, progress, innovation, efficiency and quality characterise them. Refractory clay is resistant to high temperatures, it consists of natural clay materials, kaolin, micas and quartz, which is why these ovens need little time and little wood to heat up, the accumulation of heat makes it possible to cook for hours.

The configuration of this oven consists of a square-shaped hut with a vertical elevation and a gabled roof. From an aesthetic point of view, unlike the rest of the mounted ovens, it has straight lines, constituting a more solid whole with higher degrees of insulation and waterproofing.

This wood-fired oven is handmade with Pereruela clay and is characterised by its great resistance to fire, that it heats up in a short time and that the heat is maintained for 12 hours, the floor of the oven has a thickness of 60 mm, the walls of the clay oven are 50 mm thick. They are made by hand for several days and left to dry in the Spanish sun for more than a month, after which they are baked in special, automatically programmed ovens at a temperature of more than 1000 °C.
